About this house sitting position in Campbell

Care for our two friendly miniature cavoodles in a new house near Canberra tourist attractions backing onto bush reserve. We are walking distance to the flower festival Floriade which is on during this house stay.

The dogs are fed twice a day but not at a particular time. It would be great if you could give the dogs a daily walk of around 30 mins and have a play/cuddle with them. They are inside/outside dogs and we have a dog door into an enclosed back yard so take care of their own toileting. While they love company and will want to be around you when you are home they can be left alone during the day. However they are used to having someone at home overnight.

The house is a new build on a large block backing onto bush reserve in the centre of Canberra. We are close to Lake Burley-Griffin and several walking and cycling paths. There are many nearby restaurants and a local shopping centre, plus we are close to the airport, bus and train stations, markets, museums and galleries. We are in a great spot if you want to do touristy things, if you are a nature lover, want some space or are social.

We currently have two bedrooms set up - the master with a king sized bed and ensuite and a second bedroom with a queen sized bed and separate bathroom. If needed we can set up more bedrooms. The house is tiled with heated floors and extra heating/cooling if necessary. There is a dog door into an enclosed back yard. We have a covered verandah and open patio with views into the reserve and a home gym. The carport has space for one car undercover and options for off street parking for caravans/other cars.

There is wheelchair access to the front half of the house, with a ramp from the carport to the entry and wide doorways. The second bedroom and bathroom are up two internal stairs. Read more...
