About this house sitting position in Canberra

We have a 4 bedroom house in Canberra ACT. The capital of Australia. We need a house sitter to take care of our house. We need a house sitter to take care of our house, our 2 dogs Buddy and Ginger and our garden.

Duties will include taking care of the dogs (including walks and training) and taking care of the house and garden.

The house borders on a park. There are lots of walking trails locally. There's a Woolworths Supermarket up the street and Belconnen Mall is a short distance.

The garden is not huge. There's a small lawn area. Garden care is mostly watering.

We need the house sitters to be folks who will sleep every night at the house and be around on and off throughout the days.

House: 4 bedrooms, high speed internet, Cable tv, Netflix, cooling system, gas stove, espresso machine, bath tub, Covered wood deck overlooking the park, treadmill. Wood floors through out.

We would like to meet you in person before the sit begins.
We would prefer someone who works from home and is active and healthy.

Buddy is a 5year year old Rottweiler Staffy cross
Ginger is a 3 year old border collie/ Kelpie/staffy cross
Both of them are high energy. Ginger can be skittish with new people, but warms up quickly. Buddy loves everyone.
Both dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates at night and when we leave the house.

We need a strong healthy person (or a couple) who love dogs and have dog experience. Read more...
