House sitter wanted for a peaceful 20-acre retreat near Gympie
I’m looking for a single female house sitter with horse experience to care for my five horses and three cats while I’m overseas. All the animals are well behaved and none need medical care.
I live in a cosy granny flat that feels like a private retreat. The horses are about a three-minute walk away. There is another home on the property, around 30 metres behind the flat, but the entrances face opposite directions, so you have plenty of privacy. A carport is right outside.
I’m a holistic practitioner, and you’re welcome to enjoy the therapy pod, infrared mats and PEMF devices during your stay. The home also has a Berkey water filter, Thermomix, Vitamix, automatic coffee machine, dishwasher, air fryer and smart TV. A robot vacuum + mop runs daily, which helps keep cleaning to a minimum.
2 airconditioner in Unit and we are off grid completely.
What the animals need:
- Feed the horses morning and night, and manage their rugs according to the weather.
- Feed the cats, provide fresh water and cook chicken breast for them twice a week. Their dry food is available around the clock and usually needs topping up every four to five days. They have an automatic litter box so no work here.
- Keep the home tidy and look after the animals’ general well-being.
The property itself needs no upkeep from you. I’m looking for someone who will enjoy the quiet surroundings and is confident caring for large horses. If this sounds like you, please get in touch with your availability and horse experience.
