About this house sitting position in Cannonvale

We have a 3x1 home in Cannonvale (next to Airlie Beach), single storey, with a pool and alfresco lounge & dining area. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach, with scenic coastal boardwalks that get you to Airlie Beach in a 40 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. We have 2 indoor dogs, Ruby a 3 year old female cavoodle, & Alfie a 9 month old male cavoodle. We are headed to Hamilton Island for 3 nights and need someone to be at our home with our dogs to keep them company. They are used to sleeping on our bed and lying on our couch so you must be a dog person and comfortable with close quarters, as they don’t know personal boundaries. They’ll need frequent toilet breaks as Alfie is still young, which requires leashing them and toileting them on our front lawn as we are renovating our driveway and have no secure yard currently. Ruby is prone to being a runner and sneaking off so she has to be leashed when outside, Alfie will also wander if he is not supervised, so we need someone who can manage this. They are not road smart and I do not want them to come to any harm. They will need walking 1-2x a day for at least 20 minutes a walk. You will have use of the master bedroom to sleep in the house with the dogs so they don’t fret about an empty house overnight. Would need someone who can be home most of the time to keep them company, and please send us a daily update how they are getting along. We have Netflix and wifi you’re welcome to use. The temperature at this time of year is around 24 degrees daytime, 11 degrees nighttime, you might want a light jacket for night or if it’s windy, otherwise it’s T-shirt and shorts weather. We have allergies to cats and dogs that are not hypoallergenic breeds (poodle, bichon frise, cavoodle type mixes) do can only accommodate a sitters pet if it is a hypoallergenic dog. My kids have severe asthma so strictly non-smokers. No guests or parties. There’s nothing you’ll need to do as far as housekeeping and gardening (besides picking up the dog droppings) during the 3 days but please leave it the way you found it, we will have guests returning with us upon our return.
