About this house sitting position in CANTERBURY

We are a family of cat lovers and we are looking for someone reliable who shares our devotion to our fury friends to kindly housesit and look after them while we are away. 

As I write this I have Rocky sleeping on my lap, and in fact all the cats are asleep in the house right now as I work from home, it is very serene. Although looking after 7 cats may seem like a chaotic endeavour, I can assure you it is anything but. 

I feed and water them in the morning and let the big boys out, clean the litter tray and thats pretty much it for the day, Apart from when im home all day when I occasionally need to scoop the poop. The cats like to look out the window so I leave the blinds open for them if I leave and if I have time, I will play with them a little before I go to work.

We are looking for someone clean and respectful to maintain the house whilst living here. Basic cleaning vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathroom so the house does not become overrun. Store the mail in designated area and take the bins out each week. All food and general cat needs will be supplied for you during your stay. We also have a maintenance guy who comes and maintains the yard. I will provide a more details routine to the right candidate.

If you’re a quiet non smoker who works from home this will be great for you. Everything you need is within walking distance including great coffee, gym, food and a bus stop to the city at the top of the street. Train station (15 mins walk) and local parks and walkways by the river.

This is not a party house. The cats are quite sensitive to having many people around so we ask that you respect our wishes and do not entertain.

Given the length of stay we are looking for someone/a couple who are happy to pay a portion of the bills each month. Read more...
