About this house sitting position in Capertee Valley

Sadly my sitter has cancelled on me so having to begin a again.
We live on a 100 acre hobby farm in a stunning part of NSW…..Capertee Valley , the widest canyon in the world and a bird lover’s paradise. The road is sealed all the way to our gate and our property backs onto the Wollemi NP .We run a few sheep ,an alpaca and some poultry . We have a 3 year old Golden Retriever / King Charles cross , Jasper, who is the friendliest most cheerful dog you will ever meet .Apart from looking after Jasper, you need only ensure the farm animals have water , feed the chooks n ducks and do the odd bit of watering. Beyond that relax and enjoy the serenity . Some basic understanding of water pumps and animal husbandry is helpful, and an ability to ride a quad bike will make life easier. Would ideally suit a couple .The property has a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom guest house available for your use during your stay . Fully equipped including reverse cycle aircon in the lounge and log burner. We are a short walk from a lovely weekend cafe .
Autumn here is lovely with warm sunny days and clear nights with stunning night skies. The log fire makes the cottage super toasty if the temperature drops cool enough . Read more...

“We had a wonderful time at Neil and Lesleys property. What a wonderful spot they live in. The views were amazing and changed with the light constantly. Saw birds we had never seen before. Had to keep looking them up. We were left very good instructions and kept in touch via whatsapp which was great. Fantastic bike rides around the area and the locals were really welcoming. Great cafe 500 metres up the road. Yummy!! If you have the opportunity to go here, grab it. You won't be disappointed. Neil and Lesley are a lovely couple. Couldn't have asked for more. Hope we allowed you to have a carefree holiday. Mog and Keith.”

Thank you both. You did and awesome job looking after all the animals and our gardens. Was so helpful getting the odd Whatsap update whilst were away , we were able to relax knowing everything was ok at home. Would highly recommend these two very experiences sitters

Loved having Andrew and Sonya look after our hobby farm whilst we were away . They gave us regular updates whilst we were away which was much appreciated given the wild weather we were all experiencing at the time. The animals were all well looked after ( the gardens didn't need watering with all the rain) and the cottage was left spotlessly clean and tidy...far better than we left it if the truth is told. We would very much like them to come back and stay when we next plan a holiday. Thank you so much.
