About this house sitting position in Caravonica

We have a small 2 bedroom home in the quiet suburb of Caravonica. We're right in between Cairns and the beautiful Northern Beaches.

We have one indoor cat, Bibi, and one dog, Murphy. We are looking for someone who can come stay in our home to look after our animals for a couple of weeks while we're away visiting family in SA for Christmas.

Bibi is very easy to take of. She's an extremely gentle cat and enjoys affection from people. She would just require feeding once a day, litter emptied, and a little bit of love when she's asking for it.

Murphy is also quite a straightforward dog to look after. We would prefer someone who has some experience with nervous dogs who require some love and patience. She is a GSP X and is medium-large. She can pull a bit on walks so would need someone able to handle a larger dog. She loves a play of fetch or tug in the backyard. She is also very affectionate and loves a cuddle in the evenings. She is fed twice a day and walked once a day. Our house is close to a dog park where she loves being let off to roam around for a sniff and a dip in the lake.

This would be our first time leaving Murphy since we adopted her last September. She is only 2 years old and is still quite an impressionable puppy but is highly food motivated and is great with her basic obedience (sit/stay/down).
Meet and greet before the sitting dates is a MUST.

Our home also has a home office with a full set up, where you could do any remote work/study if required. TV has samsung TV, netflix, prime and Stan available. We have a large garden but wouldn't be expecting any garden maintenance while we're away for a short time, just someone to take care of our fur babies. Read more...
