We are a retired married couple living in Caringbah Sth in the beautiful Sutherland #hire

We have no children and love to travel. We lead a fairly quiet, layback lifestyle, love our home and garden. We own a beautiful chocolate 9 year old Labrador,. We would like a trusted mature and reliable house sitter because we would really like the reassurance that someone will look after our home and dog while we are away.

We live in Allambie Avenue, Caringbah South. Our home is a 3 bedroom plus study on a level block. We have 2 toilets, 1 bathroom and a shower in the laundry. Our home is double brick with polished floorboards throughout We have a study which is great for people wanting to work from home, with good wifi. Our home has just been repainted inside and out and we have just installed a new kitchen and bathroom

. We have a fairly big backyard and covered deck with BBQ. We are a 15min drive to Cronulla Beach, a 10 minute drive to Miranda Westfield and a 5 min drive to Caringbah Village, which has a Woolworth, Butcher, Chemist and a great Fruit and Vegetable store. Our street is a small cull de sac with around 20 homes in total. Our street neighbours are fantastic and we meet up on occasion for drinks and a chat in the little park in our street, which is an added bonus. We believe our street is like living in a community of like minded people.

Our requirements are to primarily to feed and look after our dog Marlee. Marlee is a purebred 9 yr old Chocolate Labrador who we purchased from a Labrador Breeder 3 years ago . She is affectionate, loving, and all round just gorgeous, adores adults and children. However, Marlee is dog reactive and we will organise to have her walked by a professional dog trainer while we are away. So there is no need for our house sitters to walk Marlee while we are away.
Marlee is an inside dog and only goes into the backyard when necessary.
Marlee sleeps inside on her bed which is located next to our bed of a night. We need this routine to continue.
Marlee is not to be left alone for any longer than 3-4 hours at a time. This house sit would really suit someone who works from home.

Second responsibility, is to look after our home. We require it to be neat, tidy and kept clean. We need our mail collected and garbage waste put out on a Wednesday night. Read more...
