We live in a huge community lifestyle village designed for over 50s with over 410 ppl & over 200 house. There is a BIG4 Caravan Park Connected so it has ALL the amenities you need for your caravan/motorhome. We also had a caravan set up on the north facing side of the home with a large concreted area, 15amp power outlet & water tap. So if you want to set up it’s all ready to go.
We are in a quiet area with lovely people that will be willing to help if needed. There is also the peace of mind that comes with living in a safe, like-minded neighbourhood. It’s in a gated village with remote access so very safe. Pool in complex, bbqs & close to town.
House is one level & situated on corner outer block overlooking golf course. Quiet area. 3 brm home. Unlimited internet, air conditioning, most streaming tv channels, 2 bathrooms, large modern kitchen & timber wrap around decking. Pool in complex available to use.
Bedroom that dogs sleep in has a king single electric bed with multifunction massage facility & remote control, En-suite & walk in wardrobe. Also aircon, tv & streaming of most pay tv channels. Water filter & small fridge in the room as well. If you sleep in your own accommodation they may want to be with you as they don’t like being alone.

Ideally this house/pet sit would be best suited for people who like to be home a lot & enjoy sitting out on the deck reading a book or watching tv or just time out. My pups love to have a little walk once a day but they are 10yrs old now so they aren’t too energetic. Cuddles are a favorite. They also love to takes drives so if you want to go explore I have good dog car seats that you can use if you have a car.

If you have friends or family that want to visit the Big4 Holiday Park is connected at the front of the village so it would be perfect for them to stay in a cabin. Unfortunately our home doesn’t have the extra space. My mums room will be closed off as she has severe allergies & the dogs don’t go into that room at all. The other rooms are used as an office & storeroom (so it is a 4br home but not equipped with 4 beds)

Super close to all shops & amenities. Only a short drive to some amazing destinations to explore around. Friendly country town.

Wheelchair Access, External stairs / steps, There is a fantastic lift at the front of house to take your groceries etc up to the front door if you don’t want to take them up the 5 stairs (just in case you have back issues etc) this was installed when my step father was unwell)

1 Maltese x Shitzu (Chloe) & 1 Maltese x Chihuahua (Indy). Both 10yrs old, desexed, microchipped female rescues.
Little Indy (white) had her front leg amputated last year due to a fracture while in the care of someone I thought I could trust after having a fall. But she is great on her 3 legs. But we REALLY need a caring person to make sure she is safe & secure & knows she is loved while we are away. I have a special harness for her so it doesn’t slip for walks & she does everything else as normal 🙂

Chloe has tablets in the morning. She ABSOLUTELY loves to take them & will help you to get them down. She will sit still & let you push it to the back of her throat. If she doesn’t swallow it she will try to again. It’s very funny to see how much she likes taking her medicine like it’s a treat… she gets excited.

Minimal - Only watering the pot plants. Not many. There are people that mow the lawns etc. Just don’t want any of the potted plants to die while we are away. Once a week water a tiny garden (succulents mainly). Check the mail box (just at entrance where you drive in).

My name is Laurinda & I live with my beautiful mum Margaret. Mum is alone after losing the love of her life only 7mths ago. We plan to travel when we can so will need a sitter often. Living life

Our dogs can’t be left for long periods of time as they get separation anxiety. They also don’t like other animals so best to keep them at a distance (little dog syndrome)
