About this house sitting position in Charlestown

We live in a newly renovated 4 bedroom house in Charlestown, surrounded by bushland. The main house consists of 2 bedrooms, office, bathroom and open plan living room/dining room/kitchen. There is a large garden and deck with an outdoor cinema, bbq, fire pit and herb garden. There is also a separate art studio/guest bedroom. The house is at the bottom of a quiet cul-de-sac and the garden backs onto a reserve, we are often visited by lots of wildlife. Our neighbours are lovely.

Our home is 3 minutes from a large shopping mall Charlestown Square and 15 minutes from the city centre of Newcastle and the beaches. Also 10 minutes from Lake Macquarie and 40 minutes from the Hunter Valley.

we have 3 cats and a dog.
All our animals are very sociable and loving.

Cupboard, Bovril and Snail are our 3 cats.They get fed twice a day. Cupboard is particularly affectionate and loves pats! Snail is quite chatty . All the animals get on well with each other.
Penny is our dog, she is very well behaved and docile . easy to look after and requires very low maintenance .

“Oscar left detailed instructions and his pets were delightful. Penny the Dalmatian is sweet and gentle, Bovril the cat is friendly and affectionate, Cupboard the cat is cuddly and Snail the cat is shy but can be coaxed out to chase a ribbon. The view from the back verandah is of beautiful bush full of birds: cockatoos, lorikeets, king parrots and bush turkeys. They all come close to the house and it was enjoyable watching them.”

“Even though it was only a short sit, I enjoyed my time there. Cupboard, Bovril and Snail were the loveliest cats. Very different personalities, but all of them were so sweet. Oscar was welcoming and showed me around. The house is lovely (except for the 19 steps leading down to it🫤 ). It's decorated beautifully and very clean. Lovely big trees right outside the windows. It's also very close to everything. I recommend as a great sit. Thanks Oscar and your lovely pussy cats.”
