About this house sitting position in Clare

Lovely old farm house situated on a working hobby farm, with hand raised animals that are generally friendly.
Nestled in the clare Valley, with local wineries and restaurants nearby, there's usually something on for the casual outgoing person.

We do have a lot of animals here, but we set it up so you mostly care for the dog, poultry, and hang up hay nets for the horses twice a day. A brief check for health and safety of the bigger animals would be preferable, but you can keep the fence between yourself and the animals.
The dog is indoors overnight, and is young so prefers people company, she is a large breed, we can consider kennelling her if a sitter without experience is all we can find.
Our animals are important to us, they all have a place here so we will give preference to capable people.
Gardening care is minimal, if its been dry for a few days, maybe water the fruit trees. Help yourself to anything that's ripe for eating, and there's generally some fresh hen eggs.
There is space for a caravan, with power, or a double bed inside with ceiling fan and bathroom.
It would be a perfect oppertunity for the relaxed homebody that just wants to hang out with the dog, watch some wildlife, pat a goat, and go to the local for snitzel, or have a relaxing glass of wine on the weekend with some live music and totter home after. Read more...
