House Sitter Wanted – Cohuna VIC

We’re looking for a reliable and caring house sitter for our spacious 5-bedroom home set on 2.5 peaceful acres, complete with a swimming pool, three living areas, and two bathrooms.

Animal care includes:

Two friendly dogs: a 10-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer and a 4.5-year-old Labrador

Eighteen chickens and one rooster (all the eggs you can eat!)

One steer (no milking required)

Two cats

All gardening equipment is onsite, including a zero-turn ride-on mower for easy mowing.

Our property is located in Cohuna, right on the beautiful Gunbower Creek and close to the Mighty Murray River. Perfect for fishing, kayaking, and relaxing in nature. The town has essentials such as an IGA, bakery, butcher and more. Larger supermarkets are only a short drive away:

Kerang: 20 minutes (Woolworths)

Koondrook Barham: IGA, Foodworks, Butchers, Cafes, Pubs, Clubs etc.

Echuca: 40 minutes (Aldi, Coles, Woolworths)

Swan Hill: 1 hour (major supermarkets and services)

Cohuna also boasts an excellent golf course and a friendly, welcoming community.
