About this house sitting position in Cradoc

Lovely single-level, well-appointed brick home on five easy acres between Huonville and Cygnet, with expansive water views across the Huon River towards Franklin and the Hartz Mountains. We’re only 40 minutes south of Hobart. The house is spacious, comfortable and private, set on a beautiful acreage with orchards, open views and a small children’s park. It has full air-conditioning, a wood fire, reliable internet and a self-contained office. It’s also an excellent vantage point for aurora sightings, especially in winter.

We have a two-year-old female golden retriever who is sweet-natured, playful and very much a house dog. She needs dog-loving people who can be with her most of the time, with short periods alone being fine. We also have a few low-maintenance sheep and three chooks that require simple routine care. A car may be available for the right sitters.

Ideal for an active retired couple or people working from home who enjoy a quiet rural setting. References and a police check required.
