About this house sitting position in DAKABIN - QLD

We are a couple in early retirement which allows us to travel in our caravan as often as we can. We are currently planning a longer trip to WA including parts of Queensland, NT, SA and travel back home. We live on the northside of Brisbane, near North Lakes, close to shops and public transport and fairly close to beaches – Sunshine Coast (50 min drive) and Redcliffe (25 min drive). We have a lovely 4 bedroom home with ducted air conditioning, wi-fi (NBN), 2 TV rooms, alfresco area.

We are looking for a sitter to mind our home and our 2 cats (Tiger, 15 yo and Violet 7 yo) while we’re away. We request non-smokers only. Should you need to work (remotely), we have an office at the back of the house where you could set up. A few potted plants will also need watering.

Cats, Tiger & Violet, were great company & loved being brushed & patted with Tiger being an especially cuddly & affectionate couch buddy. Miss Violet kept me well entertained with her antics. Various parks nearby on the 15 minute walk to Dakabin Woolies & shopping precinct with several cafe options. Nearby North Lakes has numerous shops large/small & cafes. Comprehensive housesit manual provided making caring for Tiger, Violet & the home easy. Exceptional communication before, during & after the housesit. “Delwyn and Paul are lovely home owners. They provided clear instructions and were always in easy contact for any issues or updates. The cats Tiger and Violet were so lovely. They always want lots of cuddles, and when I wanted some cuddles they gave lots of it in return. I had a lovely 3-months sit, and had the opportunity to live like a local. The house was huge, spacious with lovely garden and alfresco to relax, with the ladies (the cats Tiger and Violet) often coming to sit next to me. I highly recommend Delwyn and Paul for a great house-sit!”
