“Marie and Ian are lovely people. Truly the salt of the earth. They warmly welcomed us and spoiled us with a day of orientation to clearly set out what is expected of us. They are friendly and helpful. They remained in contact for the period they were away, answering all our questions with patience. It was a pleasure to look after their goats, donkeys, sheep and cattle. The veggie garden delivered a bounty of superfood, and the chickens were super obliging with eggs. We had a wonderful time and gained much experience on their property. The birdlife was a joy. The area is peaceful. Thank you Marie and Ian for giving us space to stay in our van with power and water provided. We would recommend this caretaking opportunity to others. ”
