About this house sitting position in Doolandella

We are looking for house sitter(s) to look after our low set rendered home on a battle axe block with 2mt high fences. The house has 3br bedrooms (one room being a sewing/ computer room), a media room and large alfresco area. We have fruit trees and potted plants which need watering. There is a small grassed area to mow, we have the lawn mower. We would like people who are house proud and love dogs. We have 2 mini Dachshunds a boy and a girl but they cannot travel with us on such a long trip. They are the real reason we need house sitter.
A car would be an advantage as public transport is limited, there is room for 2 cars one in the garage and one under a hail proof shelter. We have fast unlimited and a stable internet (as stable as you can expect from Telstra) for those working from home.
You will need to have a current police check and be able to supply references. Only people who are either retired or work from home will be considered as the dogs cannot be left alone for long periods but are ok to be left alone for a few hours but not all day. The dogs are walked for 30mins 5 days a week. Although the dogs are friendly and do not bite they are not used to children so best if children do not stay here.
