About this house sitting position in Dungay 2484

4 bedroom home on 25 acres -beautiful view of tweed valley, swimming pool shut down in winter), tank water, overhead fans, Ducted Air conditioning, fox sport & entertainment, Netflix movies, WiFi internet (average speed) ,situated 7 minutes outside of Murwillumbah NSW ,5 km south of the Queensland Border- we have chooks (18) and 2 dogs - 1 Shusitus (indoor house trained) + 1 red kelpie cattle dog(outdoor dog) - all friendly and loving, fish pond outside with 5 gold fish -4 Australian miniature goats (graze and1 daily supplement grain feed) -2 Gallaway calves 1yr old-(graze only)
We will be departing at 2pm on the 14.4.26 so if you arrive at least a cople of hours before that we can orientate you to the home and animal requirements. we have prepared concise and descriptive house minding notes for your reference

“Heather & Terry are the nicest & welcoming couple you could meet. Their property is gorgeous with everything to make any stay memorable. Their two lovely canines, Lizzy & Lilly are very well behaved & the friendliest of canines. Lizzy is the house boss Lilly is the outside guardian, until thunder arrives & then she takes shelter inside, until the storm passes. The gold fish are easy to look after & the numerous chooks are no problem, with a well set for them to peck around in the paddock until twilight arrives then seek safety for the night in their coop. The four goats are no trouble, although typical goats, with manners in short supply, but no trouble all the same. Overall it was a fantastic stay. ”

“We’ve just completed an 11-day house sit at Heather & Terrys farm and had a truly wonderful experience. They were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived to get a handover prior to our house sit. The farmhouse setting was so peaceful and relaxing – a real joy to stay in. We loved caring for the chickens and goats, and the dogs, Lizzy and Jilly, were fantastic companions throughout our stay. Everything was well organised and communication was excellent. We would happily return and highly recommend this sit to others.”

“House/farm sitting for Heather and Terry was like staying at a retreat for me! They were both very welcoming and their home was comfortable, clean and tidy with a lovely view of the valley. A list was supplied of all that is needed to know about the daily routine, as well as showing me in person. Lizzie and Jilly are the sweetest dogs and very well behaved. The chickens were laying an incredible amount of eggs which made breakfast more delicious. The goats are very entertaining at their feed time, along with the cattle. The property is only 10 mins from all that you need in town. I really enjoyed my week and would return again if the timing works. Thank you Heather and Terry! :)”
