About this house sitting position in East Bunbury

Responsible House-Sitter Needed – Elderly Dog (Heart Medication)

We are seeking a highly responsible, experienced house-sitter for our much-loved elderly dog, who is on daily heart medication and requires calm, consistent care.

This role would best suit a single, retired person who is a genuine homebody and happy to spend most of their time at home.

Requirements:
Proven experience caring for elderly dogs
Confident administering daily medication
Quiet, reliable, and attentive
References required
Current police clearance required
Non-smoker preferred

The Home:
Comfortable two-storey house
Spare bedroom downstairs (ideal if stairs are an issue)
Excellent location near the estuary
Short, easy walk into town
Peaceful, pleasant surroundings
This is a caring, responsibility-focused role and not suitable for someone who plans to be out most of the day.

“I've just finished an 18 day housesit with 18 year old Elmo & 10 year old Lily. Both easy little dogs, & even with Elmo's advanced age, he's so much better than many younger senior dogs. Lily supposedly has anxiety issues, but I never saw them. She's a sweet cuddly little dog. The house is small, but great for a single woman. A lovely outdoor area & an easy walk along the estuary into Bunbury centre. An excellent location to get a feel of & explore Bunbury. Communication with Di was excellent”
