About this house sitting position in East Fremantle

Our newly renovated mid-century modern East Fremantle townhouse has a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with a single bed, and one bathroom. There is a garage on the first floor, a living area on the second floor with a balcony and courtyard, and the bedrooms and bathroom on the third floor. It is located an easy walk from the Swan River and is well connected to bus routes into Fremantle (a 5-10 minute drive away) and Perth city.

We have a beautiful 11 year-old tabby cat named Tate, who is indoor only due to a health condition. We have recently enclosed our entire courtyard with a secure cat net so he has a lovely outdoor play area that he can safely explore under supervision, however we would need a house sitter to be diligent about keeping all other doors and windows to the outside closed to prevent him from escaping into the neighbourhood. Aside from this, he requires no special care or medication for his health condition so is very easy to look after! Essentially you would just need to feed him, scoop out his litter tray once every couple of days and, of course, give him a bit of love and attention every day. He’s a super well-behaved boy who loves some human company and cuddles but is also perfectly happy to be home alone during normal working hours. His favourite hobbies include receiving ear, chin and belly rubs, enjoying the occasional brush and lapping up some quality evening pets on your lap, on the sofa or in bed! He also particularly loves a short play with a wand toy or two just so he can show off how high he can jump! Otherwise, being a slightly older boy, he is pretty independent and will spend most of his days moving from one sunny spot to the next for a lengthy snooze.

Aside from cat care, a house sitter would also need to keep an eye on the garden (all plants are reticulated but may need a bit of hand watering here and there). Otherwise, our house is very secure, relaxing and low maintenance, situated in a block of mews-style townhouses, filled with extremely kind, helpful and respectful neighbours.
