About this house sitting position in East Toowoomba

Remy, our 3 year old desexed standard poodle, needs someone who loves dogs to keep him company and care for him while we are overseas. We are looking for a mature non-smoking couple with previous experience at house sitting and minding a larger breed dog.

Remy is a good natured boy who loves people and is progressing very well at obedience training. He likes a nice walk around nearby Queen’s Park which we do once or twice a day, weather permitting. For the remainder of the day he’s happy to snooze or play with a ball in the back yard. He is very much an inside dog and enjoys all the comforts of home.

Our home, ‘Ballybristy’, is located in one of the beautiful camphor laurel lined streets in East Toowoomba and is an easy walk to weekend markets, Queen’s Park and even into the city itself. It was recently almost totally rebuilt and is now a very comfortable modern home but still with the charm of wrap around verandahs to enjoy. Our housesitters will have their own queen sized bedroom and the main bathroom for their use.

As our street is one of the older streets in Toowoomba, it is narrow and there is no room on or off our property for parking caravans etc.

Autumn in Toowoomba is a gorgeous time to visit with autumnal colours across the city to enjoy. We are also walking distance to some of the best cafes and pubs as well.

Our home also has ducted heating and cooling to keep you cosy and warm.
