About this house sitting position in Elliott Heads

We live in a small low maintenance brick home in a quiet cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours and kids running around. We have a lush backyard with many edibles, outdoor undercover area, fire pit area, and kids play fort and sandpit.

There is a designated chicken pen with chicken coop. They need to be let out of the coop and back in the coop daily, fed and watered.

Our border collie Buddy is well trained dog. Loves going for walks and beach. He gets along with other dogs once introduced. He initially barks at dogs and people he doesn't know.

Our old guinea pig is very low maintenance, doing her own thing in an outdoor cage.

We have 2 pet rats, that are friendly and social, that live in an indoor cage. They need daily interaction of a morning and evening. They sleep all day. They need their cage to be cleaned weekly, and random poos picked by shovel daily from their bedding. Not much work but need some daily attention. They are great companions who will climb all over you if you let them. They love treats.

Our backyard doesnt need much attention and mowing and watering likely won’t be necessary. You are welcome to enjoy ripening fruit and fresh herbs.

We have 3 useable bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet. Kitchen and lounge-room are connected - great for being able to cook in a company of a family. Kitchen window overlooks backyard, great for supervising children. As we are a young family, children are welcome here, and there is not much breakable stuff in the house. Very simple home.
