Hi and welcome!

I am going to be away from 7th May, returning on 18th May 2026 around lunchtime.

I live in Engadine in The Sutherland Shire, NSW
We have a train line T4 that runs from Bondi Junction to Wollongong and Kiama. A local Engadine bus runs half hourly during the day hours.

I'm 10 minutes drive to Audley Weir in the Royal National Park, with its lovely café and the beautiful beaches.
I'm 1/2 hr drive to Cronulla, Bundeena & Wottamolla Beaches and 35 minutes to Thirroul Beach.

I live tucked away in a beautiful nature, bush front home which is very quiet and peaceful.
The gardens are well manicured by my gardener who comes over once a week, usually on a Wednesday or Friday.
I have a cleaning lady who comes over once a week on a Friday afternoon.

I have 2 lovely cats that need feeding twice a day and their kitty litter which gets cleared twice a day.
Both cats are kept indoors in summer and Saydee, is my 15 yr old girl. Simba is a 9 year old boy. They both love human company.
I let the cats go outdoors on the front lounge balcony in the morning door being left partially open all day, until I close them in at night.
Touch wood, so far in 10 yrs I've always been safe leaving my upstairs door open all day.

They are both terrified of thunderstorms so if I'm home I try get them inside from the lounge balcony before a storm hits.

If you're going to be out late and can't get back in time to close them in, it's okay to leave them locked inside for that day.

I have aircon in my upstairs lounge, the master bedroom, my downstairs lounge/ art studio and in my counselling room and another one in my reiki room.

I have a lovely downstairs large bedroom with a king sized bed off the downstairs lounge/ art studio.
It has a heater and a fan plus the aircon in the adjacent art studio/ downstairs lounge. I have an internal laundry with washer, dryer and an extra fridge/ freezer.

I do prefer guests to sleep in that downstairs large bedroom in the king size bed, rather than my upstairs small master bedroom which is much smaller.
There's a toilet and sink in the downstairs internal laundry/ utility room, which can be used overnight but most guests prefer to use the main bathroom which is directly upstairs from that large bedroom.

Parking is in the driveway, in front of the house or safe off-street parking.
I have very decent, friendly neighbours who won't disturb you, but who you can reach out to if you need to.

Foxtel/ Disney & Netflix
Unlimited internet with Telstra.
My yard is open with no fencing so unfortunately no dogs. I'd prefer no other cats either as I'm not sure how mine might react to other cats.

I have a lovely neighbour who can pick up cat minding if there's a day or two that you can't manage in my time frame but I need advanced notice to negotiate with her.

I'm going to South Africa from the 9th March 2026 until the 2nd April 2026, returning before Easter when flight prices sky rocket.
