We are offering a rare house-sitting opportunity on our beautiful 21-acre hobby farm nestled in the stunning hinterlands of Eungella, Central Queensland.

Our property boasts absolutely breathtaking views and a peaceful, private setting that many people would happily pay a premium for as an Airbnb. This is a truly special place, and we are looking for someone who will appreciate it as much as we do.

The home itself is a beautiful timber, open-plan house that feels warm, spacious, and connected to the surrounding landscape — the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day outdoors.

🐑 The Animals

Our animals are incredibly loved and well cared for, so finding the right sitter is essential.

You’ll be caring for:

A friendly herd of mini sheep

Miniature pygmy goats, protected by two beautiful livestock guardian dogs

Chickens, geese and guinea fowl

Three horses (confidence around horses is essential)

Our sweet Cavoodle, who lives in the house with us

All animals are part of our family, and we are seeking someone who is confident, calm, and experienced around animals, particularly horses and livestock.

🕒 Daily Responsibilities

Daily care is very manageable and typically requires up to one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. Tasks include feeding, checking animals, and general property oversight.

Sitters will have access to our buggy to easily get around the property and assist with feeding and animal checks.
