About this house sitting position in Fairfield

Hello!

I am seeking a pet sitter to look after my affectionate dog (Monty) whilst I am away for a period of approximately 2 weeks in August.

My leafy home is located in Fairfield, Brisbane, within walking distance from local parks and shopping centres, as well as the train which goes straight to the city. It’s also walking distance from the university of Queensland, and within a 10 minute drive of west end and south bank.

Monty is a 5 year old, active dog who needs at least a walk a day, ideally one in the morning and at night (there's lots of lovely parks along the Brisbane River within the neighborhood). She’s affectionate and loves cuddles / snoozing throughout the day after a walk in the morning. She’s not always social with other dogs so I avoid dog parks when they are in use by others. Otherwise, when they are empty, she loves chasing her ball at them.

I am looking for an individual who would be interested in living in my room (which is large and light-filled, contains a king sized bed and lots of storage), care for Monty whilst I am away, and share my home with my current lovely housemates.

There are currently three housemates living in the home. Everyone is busy and works fulltime. We enjoy sharing spaces and cooking together but are also considerate of each others personal space. The house is and a quiet zone - we keep things pretty quiet during the week to be respectful of each others schedules. We are a close knit and chill household - definitely not a party house.

All housemates are aged in their mid 20s to mid-thirties, are clean, tidy, respectful, friendly and quiet. One of the three housemates lives downstairs in a semi-self contained apartment, and two other lives upstairs with me. Luckily, the house is large, with three separate bathrooms. There's plenty of space for everyone. You'll be sharing a bathroom with 1 other housemate.
