About this house sitting position in Ferndale

Hello my name is Erin, my dogs name is Dio, and 3 hens Betty, Mary & Mabel.

We are looking for a special human (or humans) to care for them for 5 nights.
I will be away from 2pm Monday 20th Jan, and returning 8am Saturday 25th Jan.


OUR HOME:
- Tidy and cosy 3x2 in Perth's southern suburbs which hugs the Canning River Reserve (lots of bird life, walking/riding paths nearby)
- It's a quiet street, safe neighbourhood with friendly neighbours.
- Walking distance or quick drive to shops, entertainment, public transport etc.
- Please note that we are on a flight path. Whilst the locals are used to it, guests may not be.
- Internet and Netflix are available and unlimited.
- The driveway is big enough to host a caravan/motorhome.
- The guest room is furnished with a double bed, cupboard & drawers.


THE IDEAL HOUSESITTER:
- Mature/Senior single/couple
- Reliable and friendly
- Comfortable with free-ranging chickens (includes scooping poop, washing down pavement, watering garden beds on hot days)
- Have a minimum of two references of previous housesits


VISITORS/SOCIAL GATHERINGS:
-Our home also hosts a registered business, therefore I ask for no unauthorised visitors. The house is not to be used for parties or the consumption of drugs.


THE POOCH:
- Dio is a delightful 5yo maltese/poodle/bichon that loves cuddles and a human nearby (at ALL times if he had his way).
- He is gentle, very social and will affectionately growl at you if you don't give him a cuddle :)
- He also loves car rides!
- Dio has medication in the mornings.


THE CHOOKS:
- Betty, Mary & Mabel are 12 months old. Being free-range chooks they are quite spoilt and friendly.
- They can be described as: Betty is a go-getter and very confident, Mary is aloof and curious, and Mabel is the quieter personality but the most vocal.
- Their poop is scooped up daily or watered into the lawn.
- Their coop door and feed are automated. You just need to check of a night time that their automatic door has closed, refresh water bowl daily and give them treats.


MY 3 'L' REQUESTS:
1) LOCK the doors
2) LEAVE the house in the same condition
3) LOVE and enjoy our little sanctuary, and LOVE their super free-range eggs
