About this house sitting position in Fig Tree Pocket

Large 4 bedroom (+study) open plan home in prestigious Fig Tree Pocket area. River views, air conditioning, Foxtel, WiFi and pool.
Very quiet area, large deck overlooking river, gardens and pool. Lots of nice walks in vicinity.
One senior, medium-sized affectionate Labradoodle. Needs walking twice a day. He is 16 years old & healthy, although deaf, and eye sight is not great. He spends most of day inside but needs to go out to toilet a couple of times in day and let out to toilet around 9 to 10pm. Gets walked twice a day. Also one house cat - Madeline (moggie)
Bus stop at end of street. Non-smokers only.
Handover time on morning of Friday 2nd (or could stay night of 1st). i arrive back from Melbourne on evening of 11th so could leave in late afternoon or stay night of 11th - I am flexible.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our house sit at Fig Tree Pocket. Jacquie and Tom were fantastic hosts and welcomed us into their lovely home. They left detailed and clear instructions for the care of their pets and home. It was a pleasure taking care of them. Otis was a little treasure and no trouble at all. Ned and Madeline were very well mannered and a delight to look after. Fig tree Pocket is a lovely area with plenty of walking tracks along the Brisbane River. The house has a lovely deck overlooking plenty of trees and birds and the river. We wouldn’t hesitate in doing this house sit again if the opportunity arises and highly recommended this house sit. “We had excellent contact with Jacquie & Tom who left very good information about the pets and were also most welcoming when we spent the first night with them. One dog (Basil) was unfortunately in hospital during our stay but we had such a good rapport with dog Otis and the two cats - in fact we could easily have taken Ned home as he is such a placid, calm and friendly creature. The inter- action between the three animals had us laughing as the personalities were so unique. The home is in a beautiful hilly area beside the river with superb walks for both humans and dogs. We certainly made the most of it! ”

“We were fortunate to housesit Tom and Jacquie’s home for a weekend. The instructions were clear, their furry companions were absolutely adorable, and the property itself was stunningly beautiful and peaceful. Basil and Otis are two of the most well-behaved dogs you could ever meet. Ned, the cat, is an absolute character—he makes it very clear when he’s hungry or in the mood for attention. Madeleine, on the other hand, is a bit more reserved, but earning her trust is incredibly rewarding, as she’s such a stunning and gentle cat. We had a wonderful and relaxing time and would gladly housesit again if the opportunity arose. Thank you, Tom and Jacquie!”
