About this house sitting position in FIGTREE

We’re looking for a non-smoker who loves cats and would enjoy a relaxing stay in our comfortable two-bedroom flat, with lovely views of Mt Keira.

Our three indoor-only cats are fed twice daily, around 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. One is very social and always up for a cuddle, another is a little shy but enjoys the occasional pat, and our newest family member is an energetic kitten who absolutely loves affection and playtime. Because they are strictly indoor cats, we ask that you take extra care when entering and leaving the unit to ensure they don’t slip outside.

We also have a collection of pot plants that would appreciate a weekly watering.

The unit is located in Figtree, a peaceful suburban neighbourhood in Wollongong. It’s just a 10-minute drive to Wollongong’s beautiful beaches and around a 20-minute walk (1.8 km) to Figtree Grove Shopping Centre. A bus stop is only a minute’s walk away, with nearby cycle paths for those who enjoy exploring on two wheels. The nearest train station is approximately a $14 Uber ride away. There’s also a handy café/general store just a 2-minute walk from the unit, and a fantastic pizza restaurant a short (but steep!) uphill walk away.
Please note there are one and a half flights of stairs to access the unit.

The flat is private, quiet, and well-equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and an internal laundry with both a washer and dryer.

The renovated kitchen includes a coffee machine for your morning brew. You'll sleep in a double bed in the guest bedroom with room to hang clothes and drawers and a desk.

For peace of mind, the unit has security screens on all windows and a deadbolt lock on the front door. Street parking is available, and our neighbours are quiet.

Please note there is no space for a caravan.

Figtree is considered a safe and family-friendly suburb, and our street experiences very little traffic beyond local residents. Read more...
