About this house sitting position in Forestdale

We have a spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on an acre, backing onto a beautiful bushland easement, with walking tracks throughout the surrounding easements. There is also a pool and a separate granny flat on the property, and you’ll have access to the entire property during your stay. The main house has one bedroom set up and an office space/sewing room if you require it, and the granny flat has a second bedroom if needed. It’s a lovely, quiet and peaceful area with plenty of space to enjoy.

We also have a very friendly 6-year-old cavoodle named Henry who is primarily an indoor dog and has access to a secure, fenced courtyard from the main house. During summer, we do get quite a few cane toads around the property. We’ve installed a toad-proof fence around his courtyard, but the occasional one can still make its way in. As he is unfortunately a little too interested in them, keeping him safe involves making sure he stays inside overnight and sometimes during wet weather when cane toads are more active. He likes to go for a walk each day (~20 min is enough), spends the day sleeping or playing fetch with someone, and likes to fall asleep at the foot of the bed.

We’re looking for someone who will enjoy staying in our home and is happy to give our pup some company and follow these simple precautions to keep him safe while we’re away. He is fine with being home alone during the day, but he also loves having someone to follow around and sleep next to if you are around during the day.
