We have a very loveable and spoilt toy Moodle. As we are retired she is not often alone for too long. We have an oval across the road which she loves. The oval is enclosed and she enjoys a ball thrown, so she can retrieve it and bring it back. She has a spot at the front window and watches the day unfold, as people walk along the street. She enjoys going for walks through Telopea Park, which is 50 metres away from our home. We have a doggy door which she goes in and out of on her own.
We live around the corner from Manuka shops and a short walk to Kingston and the foreshore, where you will find a smorgasbord of cafes and restaurant's.
Cycling paths are in abundance, and a 50 metre ride will get you onto the bike path, taking you all around Lake Burley Griffin, with opportunity to visit the Portrait Gallery, National Gallery of Australia , Questacon or the Arboretum. Many choices for a coffee, drink or food along the way.
Our heritage listed home, built in the 1930s has been lovingly renovated and extended. There is greenery everywhere you look and both courtyards are visible from inside. We have ducted gas heating and evaporative cooling for the summer months. Our guest bedroom has a King sized bed and visitors have commented on how comfortable it is. Read more...
