About this house sitting position in Giffard

Hello! After three years of being regular dog sitters ourselves, we’re now looking for someone to take care of the new addition to our family — Willow, our miniature poodle, while we head to Melbourne for a wedding.

Willow will be around 8.5 months old in July. She’s a sweet, playful pup who loves attention and being around people. As this will be her first overnight stay without us, we’re hoping to find someone who plans to be around for the weekend and ideally has experience with puppies and a bit of patience while she’s still learning the ropes.

Still young, so enjoys company rather than being left alone for long periods

We’ll be able to provide a full routine and instructions closer to the stay once she is a bit older.

About the Property
Our small 1.3-hectare hobby farm is located in Giffard West, about 20 minutes from Sale and 20 minutes from the beach. It’s a peaceful rural spot surrounded by farmland (with neighbouring cows often visiting the fence line).

The house is comfortable and relaxed and includes:
Main bedroom and bathroom
Lounge room
Reading room
Office
Spare bedroom if needed

Outside there’s a large undercover deck perfect for BBQs and relaxing, plus a fire pit area for cooler evenings.

We also have six chickens, which require minimal care for such a short stay — but you’re very welcome to enjoy the fresh eggs!

Easy drive to Sale or Yarram for shops, cafes and services
Short trip to some lovely Gippsland beaches

As we’ve only had Willow a few weeks and recently moved into the property, we’ll be able to provide more detailed instructions and updates about her routine closer to the stay.
