About this house sitting position in Gippsland

Farm House Sit – Gippsland Hills (2–16 May approx.)

We are looking for a reliable and animal-loving person or couple to caretake our farm home in the beautiful Gippsland hills from 2nd May to approx. 15-16th May.

This is a peaceful, remote property surrounded by forest and bush, with no close neighbours—ideal for someone who enjoys quiet country living a nice garden and walking, with stunning views across the hills toward Wilson’s Prom.

What’s involved (all quite manageable): -
• Feeding two quiet friendly horses (they come up daily to the house yards for a small feed from their large paddock that has plenty of feed)
• Caring for our very friendly Border Collie
• Feeding /checking water for a small number of chickens and collecting fresh eggs
• Light garden care (possibly a mow of the house lawn and a bit of weeding if needed)
• General presence around the property

What’s provided:
• Comfortable farmhouse accommodation
• Separate adjacent self contained amenities building with modern bathroom, shower, toilet, sauna, and laundry with new washing machine
• Reliable high-speed WiFi
• Vegetable garden with seasonal produce
• Plenty of flat space for a caravan if preferred, with access to power and water

We are located about 20 minutes from closest town (shops, Woolworths, and services).

This would suit someone practical, independent, and happy in a quiet rural setting.
