Farm House sitting - Gippsland hills

Looking for a reliable person/couple for caretaking/farm sitting for about 2 month from 1 August to about 30 September 2026 for our farm house in the Gippsland hills.

This is a peaceful, rather remote property surrounded by forest and bush, with no close neighbours—ideal for someone who enjoys quiet country living with a nice garden and surroundings.

There is ample flat space for parking a caravan adjacent to our farm house shed with access to electricity/bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine and a sauna. We are located rather remote and high up in the Gippsland hills, surrounded by forests and bush without any direct neighbours, a paradise for walking all the forestry tracks with amazing views over the hills and Wilson’s Promontory. Shops, full services and Woolies etc are just down the hill in town some 20 minutes drive.

We have 2 friendly Horses that come up daily to the house yards for a 'hello' and just a handful of feed, even though there is plenty of grass on their paddock and mainly need looking after our Border Collie with some walks and care, feeding some chickens providing daily eggs and some light garden care for our farm house garden, perhaps eventually needing some mowing and have a few weeds pulled. There is a vegie garden that seasonally provides produce.

There is no stock work involved for the farm/animals. All will require minimal work around the farm house and garden mainly to care and look after our friendly Border Collie farm dog, feeding the chickens and horses. Whilst looking for a couple with a caravan there is a another building separate/adjacent to the farm house containing a modern bathroom, shower, toilet and a separate Sauna as well as a modern laundry area/new washing machine. High speed reliable Wifi and internet access.
