About this house sitting position in Glenelg South

Our family home is located in the vibrant beachside suburb of Glenelg South, which is only a 15-20 minute drive from Adelaide CBD.

Our house is a 5 minute walk from the beach, including the wonderful Broadway Kiosk. and a 1 minute walk to the bustling Broadway strip which has cafes, restaurants and shops that have a very cosmopolitan feel.

Some of the places on our doorstep are Olivetti, Organik Cafe, Mediterranean Cafe, Sabai Thai, Love Pilates Studio, Market 33 Bakery, the Local Meat Butcher, the Pet Butcher and so much more!

We are a 10 minute walk to Jetty road and all the shops and amenities there - yoga studios, gyms, supermarkets, even a cinema!

Our house is an renovated two story art deco family home, and is relatively low maintenance due to small gardens.

We have two cats and two small/medium dogs - for this trip both the dogs and the cats will need looking after.

About the lovely dogs:
Lulu is a 9 year old cocker spaniel
Maxie is a sweet and energetic 2 year old Boston terrier.
They have been lucky to have the same house sitters available for the last 2 years, but who are not able to help us out this time.

About the gorgeous cats:
Tiger is a sociable boy who is one of the pack and well known in our neighbourhood
Clara is a shy and anxious girl who loves a cuddle when she feels safe.
Both are indoor/outdoor cats.

We have a few house plants and outdoor plants that need watering too, especially in case of hot weather.

You will be in the spare bedroom upstairs, so mobility is important.

Given that there are two dogs to walk, 2 sitters / a couple is preferable. We can consider one fit and strong person though, but walking two dogs alone is a pain in the bum!

The cats are no trouble, just need feeding and the occasional litter change.

We will be overseas for this trip, and given the proximity to Christmas, we would love some help with errands, eg collecting the ham, defrosting turkey etc
