We have a 3 bed 70's brick home with heat pump, carpet in bedrooms, Wi-Fi. 10 minute walk to Glenorchy town centre which has a shopping centre, three major supermarkets, a cinema and cafes. We are 7km from Hobart CBD which takes about 15-20 mins by car or 30 mins by bus or bike. We are also very close to Mona.

Glenorchy is surrounded by mountains and easy access to Kunanyi/Wellington Park and walking/mountain biking trails.

We are looking for quiet, dog loving house sitters to care for our house and our senior pooch Millie. We've had Millie since she was 2 and she's almost 16. She is a foxy x chi, loves company and still has a lot of pep. She will snooze a lot throughout the day but loves pats, sniffing around the yard and a 30 minute walk in the afternoons. She likes to sniff and pee on everything so patience when walking her is required!
We are vegans so we’d prefer a veg/vegan sitter or someone who would respect our wishes and not consume animals in our home. This is very important to us.
We would like to go to QLD for Xmas as we have family visiting from Europe.

We have one queen bed in our main bedroom with a very new mattress and we're happy for you to sleep there. If you prefer, we have a comfy Koala brand sofa bed in the back bedroom. The other room is currently set up as a TV /movie room. Our house is only really suitable for singles, couples or a small family.

We would prefer someone based in Tas but welcome applications from mainlanders who will already be in Tasmania at that time. We love Hobart and our place is a great spot for exploring Hobart and surrounds.

Millie can be left alone for several hours during the day as she is used to us being out at work but we would love it if you could be home to give her an afternoon walk and some love and attention! I look foward to hearing from you. Read more...
