About this house sitting position in Glossodia

We would like to find a reliable and experienced house sitter to look after our pets and our house for a little over 2 weeks commencing 16 October 2024.

We are located in Glossodia, which is a quiet semi rural area, in the Hawkesbury area of Sydney.

We are close to local shops and services in the suburb.

Aldi and Coles plus a range of other stores are at Nth Richmond which is 8km away. Richmond and Windsor have all the services you could want and are 10 & 11km away respectively.

We are set on 5 acres and have 2 ponies and 1 dog that require looking after.

Our dog (Buddy) 11yo Labrador Retriever is low maintenance, friendly and pretty straightforward to care for. Buddy does have to have 2 pills morning and night after his feed. He had these hidden in a cheese ball followed by his favourite snack - a carrot!

The ponies are not difficult either, but we would prefer someone who has had some experience with horses - handling, making up feeds, rugging/unrugging and being able to identify if something not right with them (eg: colic). Also, 1 pony requires medication each morning - 1 pill which is hidden is a mash ball that he takes readily.

If you're travelling with a caravan or RV, we have plenty of space for you to maneuver and park your vehicle - and power and water are available if you choose to stay in your caravan/RV.

You would have the place to yourselves and access to all services at home like WiFi, TV streaming services, etc and access to use our property maintenance equipment as required/if needed.

There is a small home office set up if you want to work from home.

Our house is modest but comfortable, and is best suited for a couple or single house sitter. It has 2 bedrooms + office , is air-conditioned and has a gas heating too. For short stays like this we give our house sitters access to the 2nd bedroom.
