House & Pet Sit in Tranquil Elanora – Retired Border Collies

Looking for a calm, experienced dog lover (ideally familiar with working breeds) to care for my two beautiful 11 year-old Border Collies, Sofie and Bodhi. They are retired sporting dogs—gentle, house-trained, and very attached to their routine and human company.

They are raw fed to a specific plan, with all meals prepped and frozen in advance. Dinner includes a simple step of adding their supplements (easily explained). They enjoy two daily walks, and when possible, a trip to the beach or creek—followed by a quick rinse-off. A fully fitted-out dog car is available for you to use for these outings, so you don’t need to use your own vehicle.

My home is a peaceful 3-bedroom duplex in a quiet complex of 14 in Lakewoods, Elanora. It’s surrounded by tranquil parklands and bushland—sometimes we even have koalas visit the common area! Despite the peaceful setting, the home is just 5 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from major supermarkets The house is fully equipped with air conditioning, a Weber Q BBQ, and a small, low-maintenance garden and outdoor space where the pups love to play and sunbake. They’d be absolutely delighted if you wanted to throw the ball for them from time to time!

Sleeping options include a double room, and a single room. You’re very welcome to choose either the double or single bedroom—whichever suits you best.

Kenneling my dogs is not an option—they’re used to personal care and being part of the home. I’m looking for someone who’ll treat them like their own and keep them comfortable and content in my absence.

Please note, children are not an option, as my dogs are more comfortable in a quieter environment.
