About this house sitting position in Gordon Park

I have a 4 bedroom house and a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer (Obi) that would love someone to housesit them over the holiday break. Don't worry, there is aircon and ceiling fans! We have a spa that we run cold in the summer and we are only 1 block from the Kedron Brook. Our housesitter has just cancelled on us due to illness so we are urgently looking for someone.

The house is in the final stages of renovation (driveway and some exterior painting are the only things left) and all appliances and bathroom fixtures are modern. We have gas hot water and cook top, with an electric oven. You would have access to a couple of bikes as well (1x road 1x cross-country) during your stay, as well as a car. One of the bedrooms doubles as a work from home office.

The dates are 20 Dec to 3 Jan but we could arrange a handover and walkthrough on the day or earlier.

More about Obi:
- he is a good dog...just not good off-lead unfortunately, as his breed has a high prey drive. You will see him having fun in the backyard for hours hunting lizards and bush turkeys during the day and trying very hard at night to meet some possums.
- You can take him for a swim on a long lead or piece of rope but I wouldn't recommend taking him to the beach, as he may swim off after a seagull and never come back!
- he has basic manners and is house-trained: sit, stay, shake, lie down, off, toilet. He walks well on-lead and with a halti and is a friendly dog when meeting others.
- He likes having people around but he's not always a cuddler. He can be left alone outside for 8-10 hours a day but he is an inside dog at night (toads mainly).

Gordon Park is a great little pocket just north of Brisbane city. It's close to he main arterial roads in and out of town plus close to the airport / tunnels.
