About this house sitting position in Gordon

Ours is a quiet and private 3 bedroom mudbrick home on 50 acres of paddocks and bush in the hills above Gordon. The expansive views across Bruny Island to the Tasman Peninsula are serene and uplifting.

There is abundant wildlife, here, including eagles, goshawks, pademelons, wallabies, wombats, quolls and devils.

There are 3 available bedrooms (1 king bed and 1 double, 1 king single ) and 1 bathroom, a large, internal laundry with shower, and a sizeable and fully equipped kitchen to enjoy. The lounge is comfortable and cozy with a large fireplace and plenty of firewood.

The yard is fully fenced to secure and contain the dogs.

What we love about our area:

For us, this place ticks all the boxes: space, fresh air, quiet, privacy, nature, wonderful views and lovely neighbours. And it is not far from Hobart, Cygnet, Bruny Island

We have 2, laid-back and elderly Alaskan malamutes. The mallies are outside dogs. We have chirpy budgies in a cage, inside.

We have chickens in tractors/enclosures (the roosters are conveniently housed well away from the house!) and 9 friendly cattle in a paddock next to the house yard. The cattle are being hand fed hay and will run for carrots.

Our ponies/mini horses and mini donkeys and goat (who thinks he's a donkey) are very sweet and love company. They are also being hand fed.

Garden or plant care
Minimal - Inside plants will need ~weekly watering, and the outside pots should be ok with regular rain

About us
We are a small family with a big love of nature, plants and animals. Work and life on the farm means we rarely get away, so this little winter break will be important down-time for us.
