About this house sitting position in Grandchester

Recently painted and partially renovated 3 bedroom home with wrap around bullnose verandah located on 80 acres. Front gate is 500m from house and home is on top of a hill with easterly views towards Brisbane and Ipswich.
We have 7 horses, 3 cows, 2 cats, 1 big dog, chickens, ducks and geese. Out of the livestock, only the cows, fowl and 2 horses get fed. It may sound like a lot but it’s only 10 mins twice a day.
Looking for someone that we would feel comfortable with staying at our home or in their own caravan and looking after our animals. We have a well mannered Friesian stallion, but we strongly recommend horse experienced applicants.
For those that like to garden, our 1200m2 house yard is the only place we properly mow and it’s easily taken care of with our 60” zero turn mower.
Other than that, you can relax in our very quiet home where all you can hear is wildlife and our own animals. Stargazing is surprisingly good considering we are fairly close to the cities.
We have fast satellite internet, espresso coffee machine, ducted air conditioning, solar with battery backup (no blackouts), and Kayo, Disney+, Netflix and Prime to help you lose time.
Spicers Hiddenvale is a 4 minute drive away and they have phenomenal hiking, fine dining and mountain bike facilities.
Grandchester hotel 4 mins away for a cold beer or hot meal at a true country pub.
2 golf clubs within 20 minute drive.
Laidley and Rosewood 15 mins away, Plainland is 25 mins away. Ipswich is 35 mins away and inner city Brisbane is an hour away. Woolworths deliver to our door.
We have 4 dams on the property and the rear spring fed dam is totally secluded in natural bushland should you need to decompress. Read more...
