About this house sitting position in GULNARE

Can you help please? May suit Caravaners travelling either west or east of South Australia.
We are seeking a motivated couple to house and animal sit for us. Our youngest daughter and family live in Tasmania so we would like to spend time with them during August 2025. We are seeking House & Animal sitters from 1st August until 7th September 2025.
Our home is a 3 Bedroom Cottage on a large block with gardens, poultry and scenic views. Tending to poultry (ducks & chooks) daily e.g let out of pens in morning & putting them away again before dark. Feed & Water as required. Extensive notes are provided to assist with the morning & afternoon routine, plus we will spend at least 2 - 3 days with you before departing. We also have our much-loved rough coat Jack Russel – Scarlet. She is 4 years old.
Gardening & watering seasonal.
As this is a late winter sit, there will be some garden watering required, according to the season, temperatures and rainfall. We have quite an extensive fruit and vegetable garden. We do have a number of wicking (self-watering) beds which just require topping up so this helps. Sitters are welcome to help themselves to the seasonal fresh produce.
Gulnare is located 50kms north of the beautiful wine producing Clare Valley. We are 25kms from Crystal Brook; similar distance from Gladstone; 45km from Jamestown & 35km from Laura. Each place offers its own unique attractions.
There is a lot to see and do around our region:
The Heysen trail section Spalding to Wirrabarra Forest is within our vicinity. The Bundaleer Reservior offers opportunities for fishing & birding & is only 9kms from our Home.
Clare Valley with its popular wineries – we are 55km’s north of here.
Burra with its mining heritage - <60kms away
Nearby towns – Jamestown; Spalding; Gladstone; Laura & Crystal Brook all offer attractions/history & heritage of the region.

Caravanners are welcome or you can stay in our house.
We can supply referees.
