About this house sitting position in Gympie
We have 5 acres set in quiet natural bushland with brick home, pool, lots of fruit trees and separate granny flat for house sitters. We also have a new large American-barn style drive-through shed with power and water, for your caravan/motorhome storage if you prefer. We are an easy 8 minutes from the Southside shopping centre (with Woolworths) and about 10 minutes from the CBD. Gympie is a well-appointed regional centre, 40 mins from Tin Can Bay and 1 hr from Rainbow Beach and Inskip Point, the departure point for Fraser Island. We are 45 mins from the Sunshine Coast and 2 hrs from Brisbane. Our main needs are lawn, potplant and pool care and some garden maintenance. We need pet-free, non-smoking housesitters who are comfortable with acreage maintenance. There is approximately 1 1/2 acres of lawn and the remainder is natural bushland. We recently downsized from a cattle property and now have no pets but love the prolific bird life here!⁸
