About this house sitting position in Hallett Cove

Hi!

We’re looking for a caring and experienced house and pet sitter from 5th–12th September.

You’ll be looking after our three much-loved dogs – one Boxer and two Dachshunds. They’re all affectionate, love attention, and are happiest when they’re with their people. In return, you’ll get to enjoy a comfortable week in our home while keeping our furry family company.

We do want to be completely upfront about their personalities so that everyone is set up for success. We’d prefer a single person or a couple (no children), as one of our Dachshunds isn’t comfortable around kids. He’s adorable and very easy to underestimate because he’s so cute, but he doesn’t like anyone getting close to his face (especially for kisses!) and will growl and may nip if his boundaries aren’t respected.

Our dogs also aren’t social with other dogs, so we’d need someone who can avoid dog-to-dog interactions while caring for them. They can be a little anxious when left alone too, particularly our female, so we’re looking for someone who’ll enjoy spending time at home with them rather than being out for long periods.

Despite their quirks, they are genuinely loving, loyal little characters who adore cuddles, affection, and being part of your day. We’re simply looking for someone who understands that every dog has their own personality and is happy to care for them with patience, kindness, and confidence.
