About this house sitting position in Henty
Hello sitters, Our farm is 5 hours south of Sydney and 4 hours north of Melbourne, 30 minutes from the Hume Highway. 15 minutes to Henty, 45 minutes to Wagga Wagga and 60 minutes to Albury.
We have 2 dogs Porter - Kelpie, and Russ - Jack Russell, 3 horses and 3 chickens.
We just need someone to feed and see the horses are upright in the paddock (have back up help if needed, but you won’t)!
The dogs just need some pampering - feeding walking, playing. They’re very friendly dogs and love a game.
The chickens will just need their feed topped up.
You will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and relax.

“What a lovely 3 months an it went so fast
The boys (fur boys) where well behaved and good company
Maddie , Bounce , an Tilly the big fur kids (horses) where well behaved an looked forward to their hay of a morning
Never brought a eggs 🥚 the hole time I was there
The fire 🔥 pit of a afternoon was something to look forward to watching the sun 🌞 set in the west an plenty of wood
The tiny house 🏡 was great to stay in while I cleaned the red dust out of the van which I picked up from 12 months over in WA
I will be back next year an Henty is a very welcoming town ”
