About this house sitting position in Highbury

Secluded and simple, our home is tucked away in the foothills and surrounded by nature, yet in the suburbs with all the benefits of being close to amenities. We have the occasional koala and echidna in our garden, with daily visits from kookaburras, rosellas and lorikeets, and it is walking distance to Linear Park––with walking and bike trails by the river–– as well as hikes, like Black Hill. We can recommend some trails! We can also recommend some great Adelaide Hills wineries. There is also a bus stop right by the house that connects to the O-Bahn track, and we are a 5-minute drive to 3 different shopping centres.
We have two pets- our rescue greyhound Paddy and cat Jazz. Paddy is an older dog at 12 years old, he is low-energy and only needs an occasional short walk. Mostly he enjoys lounging around at home with human company. Jazz enjoys going outside in the garden, but also spends a lot of time indoors. They just need food and company.
The garden is fairly young and needs to be watered regularly. We have drip irrigation and 2 rainwater tanks that make this quite easy, but taps need to be turned on and off manually. We also have indoor plants that will need to be watered about once a week.

It is a comfy house with a very efficient reverse-cycle ducted system. Cozy up with a book by the corner window and enjoy the nice views. Read more...
