About this house sitting position in HIGHFIELDS/Toowoomba

We require a Cat/ HOUSESITTER while we are on holidays . We have 3 cats so must be CAT LOVERS . Our garden is large yet will require minimal care (some watering along with pot watering ) provided our season remains moist which is unpredictable ( we will arrange mowing ) . There are some pot plants which will require regular watering as well . Several native birds ( magpies, corellas, king parrots. Wrens, galahs, white cockatoos & lorikeets visit daily & we feed them in our back yard . Our home is ground level , brick - 5 bedrooms.( main with ensuite) there is reverse cycle a/c in living area along with a wood fire ( we will leave adequate wood for period but as leading into spring the fire probably won’t be required ) . At the back of house is an outside entertainment area with complete built in glass windows & sliding doors with crim safe security so can be left open with weather permitting - lovely area in mornings & all summer .
The kitchen is large & renewed in -2019.Ammenities are close by with a 5 min drive to 3 large supermarkets Locally & 15-20 min drive to Toowoomba city facilities. There are several coffee shops within 5 min walks from our home . 10 minute drive to a local Brewery & restaurant at Canarlah as well as the local Tavern at Highfields .
Many walking areas , pool parks are within close driving proximity .
Our pets are our major concern while we are away & they love human company so it would be required for sitter/s to be available to be home all nights & periodically during the day .( preferably a person working from home or able to be home most of day )
They are indoor cats but have outside time during the day under strict supervision . The area is very quiet with the whole street owner occupied . We know all street occupants well & neighbours are all very easy going . All in all a very pleasant position to live in & a comfortable home . Read more...
