About this house sitting position in Highland Park, QLD

We’re based in Highland Park, offering a relaxed, beach-style 3 bedroom home. The space is tidy, light-filled and gets beautiful morning and afternoon sun, perfect for a slow coffee or unwinding after a long day.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable lounge and TVs with Netflix in two bedrooms and the main living area. The kitchen is fully functional with a stovetop, oven, air fryer and BBQ. We don’t usually use a microwave, but we’re more than happy to provide one if preferred.

The location is super convenient, just 15 minutes to Broadbeach, set on a quiet street with a local park and takeaway shop nearby. Larger shops like Coles, Woolworths and all the usual takeaway options are only 5 minutes away.

Now to our little crew.
We have a beautiful cattle dog who is incredibly loving and will quickly become your shadow. He’s deaf and has come a long way since being rescued. He’s generally well behaved, though he can be a bit of an attention seeker at times and may bark for attention. We have simple, gentle methods in place to manage this and he responds really well. He’s a softy at heart and very easy to love.

We also have Missy, our 12-year-old foxy. She’s quiet, timid and very sweet, and keeps to herself.

Out the back, we have two Pekin ducks who are used to the dogs. They’re low maintenance, just needing a quick crate clean and fresh water each day. They can be shy at first but warm up over time and are a fun little addition to the home.
