About this house sitting position in HIGHLAND VALLEY

We live on a 75 acre property. There are three houses on the property and each house has four acres for personal use and the remaining 63 acres is common land. Our four acres into a gorgeous little hobby farm. Our cottage is built from local stone and has high raked wooden ceilings and masses of windows to capture all the beautiful views. We are located in a valley in the Adelaide Hills between Strathalbyn and Mount Barker. Each town is approximately 16km either way. Adelaide City is a 40 minute drive and another 10 minutes to the beautiful beaches. We're very close to all the major wine regions including Langhorne Creek and McClaren Vale. The Adelaide Hills are also a mecca for wonderful produce and artisan markets on the weekends. Historic Hahndorf is just 22 km away and there are also a number of fabulous historic pubs - one of the the oldest pubs in South Australia, The Three Brothers Arms, which does excellent food and great music on a Friday night, is 9 kms away.
Our animals are very well behaved. Bella the Boxer is extremely loving and playful and Pepper the Boston Terrier is incredibly active and loves her morning routine of throwing the ball across the paddock from the morning coffee area. But she loves a cuddle in the evening and bubbles being blown on her tummy. Our two cats, Lulu is still and kitten and full of mischief and Poppy is her own special breed. :) She can be quite haughty but one scratch of her snowy white tummy and she'll be yours! Poppy loves to be outdoors during the day and Lulu is still learning what the outdoors is. At night the cat flap is locked and they remain inside until morning. They are very clean and don't use litter trays. Lulu is very loving and is used to spending hours on her bed by my desk as I work. We also have six alpacas - who are self sufficient, three chickens, two geese, two miniature goats and a comet fish in a pond outside. Being retired we are home for most of the time, so this housesit will require sitters who are contented to stay home or return home every day, if going on excursions.
