About this house sitting position in Holland Park

I have a 5 bedroom ensuited highset home (secure parking) in the quiet southside Brisbane suburb of Holland Park. We are close to public transport going directly to the CBD and Fortitude Valley or direct bus route to Garden City Shopping Centre.

The house has fast broadband, and a number of decks for entertaining, relaxing or private space.

We have plenty of space for sitters who work from home. We have 2 desks and chairs, spare monitor and a laptop stand downstairs. It is a designated space for study or workplace without distractions with plenty of natural light. You just might have 1,2, 3 or 4 furry helpers at different times of the day.

We have 3 indoor cats and a dog who require in home residential care.

Ella is a youngish 10 year old medium to large dog (parentage unknown). She is shy with strangers at first, but a terrific guard dog. She will let you know when unfamiliar folks are around. She loves to chase her ball, and to go for a walk. She is a big marshmallow girl, and once she trusts you, she will love you forever.

Pepper is 9 and is the queen of grumpy. Like most cats she is very independent but if you take the time to build a relationship with her, when she is ready she will want to be with you. She is mostly an inside kitty but is allowed outside but I make sure she is in before nightfall.

I have twin kittens Lyra and Vega. They are 6 months old and must stay indoors as are not desexed yet though I will endeavour to get it done before I go.

We also have approx 20 aquarium fish and cherry shrimp. They are happy chaps and are really low maintenance. In saying that, the last couple of sits have not cared for them above feeding. I will go through the details with you before I go.

I am looking for someone to live in the house as I would. Duties include care of the animals, day to day watering of plants, putting out bins etc.

I am a non smoker and maintain a clean and tidy house. I have a number of outdoor areas for your convenience, and an ashtray if you require. I have great neighbours, but we all appreciate a little peace so a quieter style of house sitter would fit in well.
