A Lovely Home, Two Gorgeous Border Collies & a Great Melbourne Location!
Come and enjoy our beautifully renovated cream-brick family home, tucked away in a quiet, leafy no-through road in Oakleigh.
You'll have your own beautifully appointed queen bedroom and well-equipped bathroom, as well as access to both spacious living areas and our lovely large backyard. The kitchen is a real highlight, featuring quality Miele appliances, and the home offers plenty of comfortable space to relax and unwind.
We're ideally located for exploring Melbourne, with Oakleigh train station and shopping centre just a 10-minute walk away and Chadstone Shopping Centre only 7 minutes away. The surrounding streets are dotted with charming little milk-bar-turned-cafes, perfect for a morning coffee. Duncan McKinnon Reserve is a lovely walk away, and there's easy access to bike paths leading towards the city or the beach.
But the real stars of the show are Whitby and Kendall!
Our two gorgeous Border Collies, Whitby (10) and Kendall (9), are a much-loved part of our family. They're easy-going, happy to spend time in their own backyard and always up for a little game of fetch with a tennis ball. The one thing that's really important to us is that they get a daily walk. It's a small ask in return for enjoying our beautiful home and fantastic location, and a lovely way to get out and explore the local parks and neighbourhood. Aside from their daily walk, they're relatively low-maintenance and don't require a lot of fuss – just a little love, company and care while we're away.
The garden is fairly easy-care, with most of it covered by an automatic watering system. During a run of particularly hot days, the potted plants on the concrete patio and deck will appreciate an occasional hand-water to keep them looking their best.
We're looking for someone who will enjoy our home, treat it with care and, most importantly, give Whitby and Kendall plenty of love, walks and tennis-ball throwing while we're away.
