About this house sitting position in Jacana

Hello!

We are looking for a couple to look after our fur babies, during the period of 3rd June-19th July 2025 whilst we are away.

A bit about our cuties.

Our dog Peanut is a 7 year old Chihuahua who is very bonded to us, has typical Chi traits such as; shaking, loves food (LOVES), barking at other dogs and snuggling with you when ever she possibly can, with a small amount of anxiety throw into the mix!
We would prefer someone who can take her out for walkies and give her lots of cuddles. She loves to chill on the couch with you or follow you around.
She is toilet trained and will go outside on command. If it is raining she will hold until she can no longer hold and sometimes needs a little prompting to go outside!

She loves walks and we have a big backyard for her to run around in and for you to throw the ball to her. There’s also a big park nearby which she loves to run around in.

She is very food motivated and as such we try not to give her too many human snacks! She is fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, we will provide you with notes on how much.

Our cat Puss Puss on the other hand is a lot more self sufficient, however she is a beautiful girl who loves a scratch and also a good cuddle (only on her terms) ;)
She is an inside cat, who sometimes gets to go outside to eat grass, with supervision as sometimes she will run off, she always comes back though if she does run away, around dinner time. We also don't want her killing any wild life.

She is also fed twice a day at the same time as Peanut and will eat her biscuits with love. (She gets very meowy)
We do lock her in the laundry at night sometimes with some water and her bed as she loves to wake us up at 5:30am in the morning. However if this doesn't bother you then you don't have to lock her in there.

The animals love having us home, but we do both work full time and they are content being left alone for the whole day if you need to go out etc, they can't be left alone overnight though.

Our house has a newly renovated kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry, the rest of the house is a work in progress, as we are renovating ourselves, however perfectly comfortable. We have fast wifi, a large flat screen TV, and an xbox if you feel like playing some games.

You are free to use the main bedroom which has an electric blanket and split cycle in there.

We are 5 minutes from two train stations, as well as a 25 minute drive from the CBD.
We are also 5 minutes walk from a lovely trail which connects up to the Moonee Ponds Creek trail. So you can even bike ride into the city!

There is numerous shopping centres very close by, Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, department stores are all within a 10 or so minute drive. A milk bar is in walking distance and a pizza shop which is pretty good in a pinch if you don't have anything sorted for dinner.

We have a car spot on the driveway for a vehicle, or there is lots of space on the street.

We would so love for you to look after our babies if all the dates line up. If you are free and willing to look after them we would love to meet you beforehand so that they can also meet you and Peanut gets familiar with you both before staying.
