About this house sitting position in Jacana

My partner and I are travelling to Thailand to get married and then on to Europe and we are looking for someone or a couple to look after our babies!

Our babies (pets) are Peanut the Chihuahua and Puss Puss the cat.

Peanut is your typical chi, loves food, to be held, going for short walks and following you everywhere. She can suffer with a bit of anxiety, however will get over this if you give her lots of cuddles, help her onto the couch and let her sit with you all the time. We really want someone that is willing to show her affection as she doesn't like no being included.

Puss Puss is your typical cat, loves a chin scratch, sleeping in the sun and maybe a cuddle.

Our home is under renovation, we have a new kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry and will have two of the three bedrooms completed by June and hopefully more. Perfectly liveable, the house just needs an update.

We have a big backyard to have your morning coffee in with a raised garden bed we try to have veggies growing in year round.

Our house is super close to train lines and toll road to the city, with supermarket, cinemas and cafes within walking distance. There is also a bike path that you can ride to that will take you into the city (the Merri Creek Trail)

We have some house plants that will need to be watered and fruit trees and plants outside as well.

Peanut likes short walks, her ball to be thrown and her toy mouse to play with. She has a slow feeder otherwise she will demolish her food and she will eat anything you give her. So only treats in moderation.

Puss puss is super chill, mostly indoor cat. We let her outside to eat grass during the day when we are out there. However she needs to be monitored as she likes to go for a wander. Read more...
